Had no expectations but when a restaurant has over 8000 reviews and averages 4.5 stars, you have to check it out and oh em gee it was DELICIOUS! Had their Cuban sandwich, skirt steak, oxtail stew and their seafood stew with green sauce and everything was delectable! Definitely recommend checking this spot out! Service was amazing and our server was very friendly (and hilarious!)! 11/10!!!!
Food was extremely good, fast service, filling portions. Food came out in 5 minutes. No joke. Server was extremely quick. Bill was paid within minutes of walking in. Unbelievably fast. Biggest portions in all of Miami (easily). 21 will actually mess you up. Popular among Asians cuz I think the rice draws them in (my wife included) seriously like every other customer was Asian it was actually really funny
Loved it here! The food is awesome, and service was also. We were there on a Saturday evening and had red snapper, green plantain and shrimp in green sauce.
The atmosphere was quaint. I was with a group of 4 and we were offered the bar to sit at or wait over half an hour. The servers were amazing, but understaffed. Despite that, she was warm and a multitasker. The only odd part was an issue with our checks, they added the tip without asking us first so it definitely increased the total amount.
The fish soup tasted amazing , Ifelt like I was back home in Ukraine (where the food is delicious). The soup deserves a score of 11 out of 10 - it’s simple but very tasty. The beef with rice was just average. Overall, everything was okay.
We were lucky enough to be staying a few blocks away from this delicious gem. The food was so delicious we went twice. The have the freshest passionfruit juice and we had this great oxtail dish too. If you’re in Miami highly recommend going.
My friend recommended this local restaurant to me and saying this place have opened for around 20 years. He is really saying the truth, this restaurant is awesome and it’s the best restaurant I have tried within Miami! I ordered the ox tail stew and seafood plate. The Ox tail stew is soooo soft and taste sooo good, and the most important is, it’s only 29, which is very valuable. My mom loves it so much. The seafood is more expensive compared to the ox tail, but it’s also a good dish. Anyway, I’m super recommend you to come and try it.
Authentic Cuban food. Huge menu. Expresso machine. Totally retro wood panelling, cash register, stools and plastic sea-fish on the wall. Totally great food, service and vibes. I was only in South Beach 2.5 days and: -Breakfast three days in a row served by Belkys. -Dinner once served by oh so sassy but oh so funny waitress Victoria. Fresh food, tasty and fast. God bless these people. Can’t thank this place enough.
